Not actually in the sky, but it looks that way. We had a very heavy rain in the morning. Not a lightning and thunder, but a good hard rain.  The lake actually flooded and overflowed the banks. September 18th

I looked out my window this morning and I noticed The turtle lineup on the far side of the lake. As you can see the water is very low and it exposed this concrete buttress where street storm sewers enter the lake. Perfect for turtle warming in the morning. So I grabbed my Sony and slapped on the tele lens. The ducks showed up a bit later just as the turtle party was breaking up....

Through The Lens

I have a small digital camera, the Sony NEX-5 which was one of the first in that NEX series of mirrorless exchangeable lens cameras. It is no longer the latest or greatest camera body but great pictures are made by the photographer, not the hardware.
