Merry Christmas 2019!

Been posting too much of the negative. Complainers and Big Brother. Not total doom and gloom, but I want to be more positive. HA! Christmas is a good time to start. On this day a savior was born. Joy to the world. The list goes on…

Why wait until New Years… I can start now with resolutions.

Here is a Christmas tree I 3D printed. Not an original design by yours truly, but it reminded me of the lighted porcelain trees we have around the house at Christmas.

Most of my time is spent on creative projects, making things. Enjoying what I can do with the abilities I still […] Continue reading » Merry Christmas 2019!

October 12, 1968

A very important ceremony involving me and my best friend Gloria occurred on October 12, 1968. We are the two kids in the middle of the picture. It’s wonderful what one will do when in Love.

Our love started in High School in Boardman, Ohio in 1964, our senior year. Yep, as high school sweethearts. The wedding took four years to happen and only my Navy service took us apart for awhile. We remained  faithful to each other through letters and phone calls.

We have been “steady” together and best friends for over 54 years… Time really flies when you are having fun. Yeah, […] Continue reading » 50 Years Ago

My furnace, actually an electric heat pump, wasn’t keeping up to holding temperature too well. Checked filter. Oops… went a bit too long. Reminder to others, check your filter now. Very dirty filters will definitely reduce system efficiency (higher operating cost) and could damage equipment. Don’t put it off. Also don’t run without filters if you have a heat pump or air conditioning in your system. A few days won’t hurt but all season could plug indoor coil fins.

After 50 years in the HVAC business, I have changed and installed a lot of filters. Even electrostatic filters usually have an after filter that can get clogged due to […] Continue reading » Filters

Happy Birthday Kids

My children (boy-girl twins) celebrated their birthday in my home yesterday. They will be 44 on Tuesday (tomorrow). Hard to believe it has been that long. We are blessed they are still best friends and both live near us here in Dallas, TX area. Both are married and my son has a daughter, now age 7. That’s our nuclear-fissioned family. (We are split but still live in the same reactor!) 🙂

So that makes my wife and I 25 when they were born. We were so young but so happy. Twins were not expected. Can’t forget the day as it was 10 below zero in northeast Ohio. Not […] Continue reading » Happy Birthday Kids
