Wow! Some Super Bowl game. (Am I permitted to use that SB term?) So sue me. We had to cheer for Pittsburgh at our house as Gloria and I and the kids lived about 40 miles from the stadium for about the first half of our lives. WAW! What a Week!

This has been a busy week. The “almost house fire” has kept me busy. Lots to do to get everything back to normal after that event. The electrical repair was a little pricey but not too bad. The service was outstanding. My heat pump repair was very pricey and the workers somewhat of a fiasco, more about that in another post. It deserves one of its own. A House Fire (almost)

This could have been much worse. The pictures above show what happened inside my electrical service meter box on the side of my house on Friday (1/16/09). My 200 amp service panel is just on the other side of the wall, about two foot of 2/0 wire between here and the breakers.
