On Thursday night 5/3/07 about 7:00 PM CDST Frisco, Texas was hit by a rain storm delivering many inches of rain and 80 MPH wind. A Thinker’s Dam

Brother Jim (up in Flat Rock, NC) sent me some videos of his dry pond. Well, it did have an honest to goodness babbling brook running through the middle. It also had a few inches of mud at the bottom. He tells me he just took 40 truckloads of mud out of that bottom. He called it “cleaning out the pond”. It must have been a mud pond. Rain

I am excited! It doesn’t take to much for that to happen… 🙂 It’s raining here in Dallas. A great several day soaking rain. No big deal you think? Well, Dallas has been in a drought for about two years. I can only water the grass once a week and then on certain time periods on that day. Needless to say, most yards are suffering. Mine included.
