We Have a Break

I have been blogging about the Texas heat all summer. Now I have the break for which I have been praying. This week has ushered in some fall weather. The home A/C has been shut off and we were coasting in neutral until last night. At that point I turned on the heat and set it for 71 degrees. The house had become cooler than that set point. North Central Texas Wildlife

I know most of the city-bread readers of this blog have a different idea what the Dallas Texas wildlife might be all about.  The attached pictures show a considerably different type of wildlife a little farther west in north central Texas,  near a tiny town named Cross Plains. February White-out

This is the weekend of the Superbowl AKA “The Big Game”. Here is what Ma Nature dished out today as a welcome to the tens of thousands who will travel to the game. It is keeping the locals home but just for today. It will be much warmer by “game day” which is Sunday. Big Game Freeze and Power Play

This is Super Bowl week and there has been some frigid weather here in Frisco, Texas. (Suburb of Dallas.) That is also true for a large swath through the center of the USA.
