Well, it&#8217;s true and here are the pictures to show why.<\/p>\n<p>My thinking was there would only be a few switches and gears and just hard core electrical stuff.This thing has more electronics than my first transistor radio back in the 60&#8217;s. There are sensors located everywhere and even a vision system to &#8220;see&#8221; how full the paper bin is getting.<\/p>\n<p>The motor is a rugged beast and I have lugged it down until <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">I<\/span> was begging for mercy. There\u00a0 is a temperature sensor strapped to the side of the motor to shut it off when it works too hard and too long. All and all a very sophisticated piece of machinery.<\/p>\n<p>I hate to see it die. It is a cross cut style shredder and did a very nice job at that. No gluing the strips together on this baby. It just couldn&#8217;t withstand a few hundred thousand volts.
