I started off into a strange new world. It is called Facebook. I stayed away as long as I could but I was finally drawn into the black hole. It can consume everything including the light of day. It is an extreme obsession with many of its users. I can feel the temptation.<\/p>\n
It is nice to chat with old friends from my youth. I enjoy that part. They usually don\u2019t come a calling here in Ramblin\u2019 Dan, so Facebook is a good thing. Facebook is totally designed around the \u201cfriends\u201d concept. I like that I can turn off all the silly stuff and time wasters that seem to be a big part of the service. I waste enough time already. \u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
It is definitely a place to find old friends and I choose my friends. If I don\u2019t know someone, they WILL be ignored. I am not going for the record length friends list. Don\u2019t try to sell me anything.<\/p>\n
I will still post most of my lengthy rhetoric here in Rambin\u2019 Dan. I have a link from here to my notes in Facebook. I also show this as my webpage although I have several others.<\/p>\n
I will not let Facebook become my instant chat room. It has a lot of my attention for now since it is new, but I intend and have already started to wean myself off the chocolate. This posting in Ramblin\u2019 Dan is the first step.<\/p>\n
