\u201cNo, French owned. \u00a0I work in the Buildings Business division\u201d<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Oh, I see\u2026 you build, buy and sell buildings\u2026 I don\u2019t like the French owning our buildings\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNo, we are Americans, The money is just owned by the French! You understand world economy I assume\u2026 Isn\u2019t Rhode Island completely owned by the Italians? \u00a0Just kidding\u2026\u00a0 We build and install things to control energy use in buildings everywhere in the world.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cYeah, funny Italian jokes\u2026\u00a0 OK we\u2019re even… \u00a0I know\u2026 building automation like Siemens and Johnson Controls. You are a controls company, I think we have Johnson controls, maybe it was Eye\/net\u00a0 — umm, Is Siemens French too?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHa! I don\u2019t know about that\u2026 No we are more than a controls company. We are One Schneider.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Oh, were there two of you at one time. What happened to number two?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is no number two. We just do everything for energy management under one name, not just buildings. So we use the term One Schneider Electric.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cFirst, I guess because we were Schneider Electric first\u2026 and no, we manage all types of energy.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, that is one of the many things we do, so that is why we call ourselves One Schneider.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes, I do. We also used to call ourselves Energy Solutions but Schneider wants folks like you to know our real name is Schneider and that we are one place to go for everything. So we use the old name, Schneider Electric to keep it simple<\/p>\n
