What ever happened to battery life? The iPhone is a\u00a0wonderful\u00a0gizmo\u00a0that happens to include a phone. But I have to drag my charging cord wherever I go.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t get or make that many calls but all the other tricks this gizmo will do just eats stored electrons like me with a bag of spicy jellybeans. The bottom of the bag shows up way too soon.<\/p>\n<p>My old phone,which was only a phone, I could carry around for a week before it needed a charge. It seemed like an afterthought to plug in the charger, not the first thing on my mind every evening.<\/p>\n<p>So what happened to the old style cell phone brag of like 18 hours talk time and 940 hours standby? <span style=\"color: #808000;\">(Exaggeration\u00a0There)<\/span> That was back when we expected the battery to stay charged forever. Now this is only a dim memory. For all the special gizmo tricks we are willing to live with 24 hour recharge schedules.<\/p>\n<p>Yeah I like playing with the gizmo toy and the features, but now I see what it takes to stay pumped up. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What a joke.
