No! Tell me I am wrong. It can\u2019t be mid October already. What happened to September?\u00a0 Was it cancelled this year?<\/p>\n

There is something happening to the time\/space continuum as I grow older. Or is it the space\/time continuum? Experts diverge on that idiom. Any who… I seem to be moving faster into the future than I intended.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately there is a flaw in my time machine because as I travel, my mind and body age at the rate of travel. That might be OK if I could get the dang machine into reverse gear. I must have an early prototype as this one I am using doesn\u2019t even have a reverse. No brake pedal either!<\/p>\n

I think I have it figured out. At my age\u00a0life is\u00a0like the Hairy Chapin ballad, \u201cThirty Thousand Pounds of Bananas\u201d<\/a> which is about driving a banana truck down the hill into Scranton Pennsylvania – all downhill with no brakes.<\/p>\n
