This is cool. I am sitting on the lake porch with the EeePC netbook running on battery and writing a story. Oh yes, I am connected to the home network and the internet so I can check mail as I am working. Pretty nice tools we have these days.<\/p>\n
I have the digital camera with me to so I can grab a few shots of my daughter’s dog who is also sharing the back porch experience. A few noisy lawnmowers running otherwise the experience would be perfect. Ha!<\/p>\n
The temperature is in the 80’s at 5:45 PM and that is a great break from what were having. It was also perfect weather for Shelley’s wedding and the dinner we had before the wedding here on the porch. She must have some influence with the \u201cGreat Weather-maker\u201d and I am glad it is holding over.<\/p>\n
Rain is still needed and we may get some this weekend. However it is only a 20% chance so I am not confident. Maybe if Shelley were here she could put in another good word for moisture. She and new hubby Doug are in Oregon where it IS raining… Hmm…<\/p>\n
