Farther downpage in this Blog I published a shot of the lake behind my house.The level was more than two feet down.<\/p>\n<p>Last night we had a Texas Gully Washer and Frog Strangler. For those of you unfamiliar with the term, a Frog Strangler is rain storm that just all of a sudden appears and dumps a ton of rain real quick &#8211; fast enough that the frogs can&#8217;t get out of the way of the water coming down the gully in time and get drowned.<\/p>\n<p>So much rain it filled the lake up!! Here is a pix taken this morning.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"1\" align=\"right\" width=\"340\" src=\"http:\/\/ramblindan.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/09\/sept-009w.jpg\" alt=\"Full Lake\" height=\"255\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Our &#8220;beach&#8221; is now gone but that is all right with us!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The rain clouds in Texas have been skirting around my little piece of Texas for many months.
