There wasn&#8217;t a plan for everyone to buy a new car at the same time, but it seemed to work out that way.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The red car is mine and there is a preview in another post here in the BLOG. It is a VW GTI MkV. It is a hot little sport vehicle with a turbo 200HP, 2 liter engine. But it can still get 30 MPG.<\/p>\n<p>The little yellow car is my daughter Shelley&#8217;s\u00a0Morris Mini Cooper. I don&#8217;t know the specs, but it too will get over 30 MPG.<\/p>\n<p>The Xterra getting washed is my son Steve&#8217;s and is &#8220;old&#8221; at several months. Ha! I think the mileage is good. He bought that car for work as his old truck was on its&#8217; last Texas roundup.<\/p>\n<p>Steve and Shel are twins, so I wonder how they ended up with the same color?<\/p>\n<p>Mom&#8217;s Van is only two years old and in great shape. So you see we didn&#8217;t ALL go on a new car spree. I was mostly driven by the cost of gas.
