\"bear\"Friend, I haven\u2019t done much, \u201cRandom Musings and Obscure Observations\u201d lately.<\/p>\n

I have been sitting back and observing the change to absolute publication freedom the Internet has produced. I can sit here right now and uncensored, write whatever I want and I can post it for other people to read and think about. Printed thoughts are a wonderful invention and the evolution of worldwide uncensored electronic publishing took the lid off the box (Pandora\u2019s).<\/p>\n

The blessing and curse is that anyone educated enough to read and write can participate. Cost barriers have been removed so that even the poorest and youngest and least experienced have access. The inclusion of photographs, video or just sound have produced a system that has become a highly audio\/video Internet experience and more and more an entertainment\/advertising media. It\u2019s becoming the same mindless wasteland stigma that was placed on television. What used to be censored is now exploited for entertainment value.<\/p>\n

The cost of such freedom and access is that there is a huge diversity of uncensored material presented on cable and the Internet. Truth has never been a requirement. In fact my truth is certainly different than someone else\u2019s perception. As many false profits are free to preach as the good ones, maybe more. How do we decide? It\u2019s determined by the culture to which we associate.<\/p>\n

What I consider \u201cbad science\u201d , now presented as true fact on the Internet and cable TV, \u00a0is warping and preying on human understanding of real truth. In a way it has become a return to the dark ages of human understandings. Bad science is presented as educational when it is in fact poorly disguised and designed to simply support advertising. Two words are often used to disguise lies and false statements as truth, \u201csuppose\u201d and \u201cif\u201d.\u00a0 Many humans have an obsession with the extraordinary and superstitions.<\/p>\n

Thankfully, there is still what I consider far more worth available than garbage, but it is up to me to sort out the trash and ignore it. The human psyche can conger up very strange thoughts and behavior, much of it offensive to my mind. This is the price of total freedom of presentation and expression. Censorship has been abolished by liberal concept of free thinking and now free publication.<\/p>\n

Make no assumption. I strongly defend the concept and practice. I am exploiting it right now. It does require that I determine my own way to the truth and be tolerant of those with other views. That is, until they try to impose their regulation on my freedom.<\/p>\n

Sometimes I think, just you and I going off into the deep woods and sitting on a high rock watching the earth turn is the greatest freedom. No other human thought or action messing things up… but you always talk too much.<\/p>\n
