New Harmony Utopia<\/p><\/div>\n

I earned my place on the Internet as one of the earliest pioneers. I didn\u2019t invent it or anything so preposterous as one political idiot claimed, but I was there as a user in the early days. So I knew it when it was a free and honorable<\/strong> place for communication by simple text messaging and I and have watched it mature into the backbone of the socialistic marketing beast it is today.<\/p>\n

So be it. It is the price of defining freedom<\/em>. It\u2019s the human condition to seek freedom but embrace it with rules.<\/p>\n

Rules are created because there are people who are considered spoilers who\u00a0will always\u00a0exist. There is no single level measure of acceptable descent, nor should there be one. Varied opinions are a necessary and contributing part of human existence. \u00a0However, some humans can be very ugly, selfish and even criminalistic when they want to be and will display any\u00a0degree of social incompatibility as they desire. To some, being anti-social\u00a0is an expression of a \u201cright\u201d to\u00a0\u201cfreedom\u201d. It is very evident on the Internet. Freedom is not a path to perfection or perfect peace and unity.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s this range of basic human character differences that causes fragmentation into social groups with rules<\/em><\/strong>. The birds of a feather flock together phenomena. There is no such ideal state<\/em> where total freedom is a basis of equality or what is envisioned as a Utopia<\/a>. I linked that word as some younger readers may not know the meaning of this ancient concept. Utopia is a very political society\u00a0with defined rules<\/em><\/strong> and certainly doesn\u2019t permit total freedom. \u201cA\u00a0utopia<\/strong>\u00a0\/<\/a>ju?<\/a>?<\/a>t<\/a>o?<\/a>p<\/a>i<\/a>?<\/a>\/<\/a>\u00a0is a\u00a0community<\/a>\u00a0or\u00a0society<\/a>\u00a0possessing highly desirable or near perfect qualities\u201d — WikipediA<\/p>\n

Communes and cults spring from the concepts of a Utopia.<\/p>\n

Living Free<\/h4>\n

The imperfections of a \u201cfree\u201d Internet are real so\u00a0we all learn to survive and enjoy what we have.\u00a0In my Internet authoring experience, I struggle with what I call the \u201cjoiners\u201d and the \u201cspoilers\u201d that cause me to highly screen any responses to what I publish.\u00a0 I discovered an open response forum<\/a> is far too difficult to maintain.<\/p>\n

Much of what comes through is now commonly referred to as Spam<\/a>. There are many variations (follow the link.)<\/p>\n

I have ventured into many open blogs where the comments become overrun with the illiterate and foul cursing comments that have no contribution to the subject matter. It\u2019s like an anti-social pre-teen who\u00a0just learned a new \u201cdirty word\u201d and wants to exercise the \u201cright\u201d to publish it as a credential of their \u201cfreedom\u201d. What a sad goal and mission of life\u2026<\/p>\n

So I move on to what is more worthy of my time. Just like ignoring the trash on the side of the road. I don’t like to see it, but I know it is there. So I build a house in a high walled compound with\u00a0locked gates. Only the \u201cclean\u201d are allowed entry and I am the judge and the one\u00a0who controls entry by defining\u00a0rules<\/em><\/strong> to build filters. Freedom isn’t so free anymore… but I am free to build the compound containing my personal utopia.<\/p>\n

Pure boundless\u00a0freedom is an illusion. It always has limits\u00a0and definition. If you define freedom\u00a0with rules<\/em><\/strong>, you lose it. It\u2019s behaves the same as quantum physics. Some day the \u201csmart\u201d scientist will realize they are trying to study complete and perfect freedom. A realm where there are no rules<\/em><\/strong> and nothing can be defined.<\/p>\n

The human mind seems like it can’t handle a place without rules<\/em><\/strong>. There has to be a definition (rule<\/em><\/strong>) for everything. Even after death, humans have filled it with rules<\/em><\/strong>. Dang, I can\u2019t even die and find true freedom\u2026\u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
