I closed my FaceBook (FB) account a few months ago <LINK><\/a><\/p>\n

Unfortunately, FB has become the BBS\/Forum location preference for many commercial business information systems. Most have a standard WWW (web) site but get more traffic with FB. <\/span><\/p>\n

I needed some customer service information for a product I own and was informed that FB was best place to get in contact with Customer Service.<\/p>\n

I had, over a weeks time, sent 5 emails to the conventional and published Customer Service address. None of them were answered. <\/span><\/p>\n

A non FB user forum (for the product) advised that FB is where to get help.<\/p>\n

Reluctantly I tried to open a brand new FaceBook account. Slightly different name format and new email address from my original account.<\/p>\n

All seemed to go well, until suddenly while scanning in the \u201cpersonal information\u201d section I was totally locked out of access, saying I had violated some undisclosed \u201cCommunity Standards\u201d and had 180 days to file an \u201cAppeal\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

I had not reached the \u201cMain Page\u201d where I could possibly \u201cViolate\u201d something. <\/span><\/p>\n

At first it looked False, like a Phishing attempt to lead me away from entering my personal data, and perhaps into a false account.<\/p>\n

I sent the Lockout page to the FB anti phishing email, but no response yet.<\/p>\n

Thinking it may be a new FB security I pursued the \u201cpath for redemption\u201d a bit father. One page I had to pass a 3-part puzzle solve test to prove I was a “human”.  The next stage it asked I make a moving video \u201cselfie\u201d of my face.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo way, Jose!\u201d Uh… “Mark!”  I am NOT sending FB a video of my face. It says they will \u201ckeep it secure\u201d for a year. Yeah, I\u2019m gonna believe that. They also hint at \u201cReal Name\u201d use and providing some sort of \u201cofficial ID\u201d with my \u201creal\u201d name. <\/span><\/p>\n

OK security is a good move. But I am NOT jumping through these easily faked hoops.<\/p>\n

Next FB (Meta Platforms) will be asking for finger prints and a DNA sample. <\/span><\/p>\n

OK Zuckerberg, I hope this extreme personal examination improves your public open sewer. It certainly needs improvement. <\/span><\/p>\n

For me, I am definitely not interested in this invasion of privacy and personal data collection. You can judge me by my actions. But I haven\u2019t made any yet.  <\/span>You locked the door before I came in.<\/p>\n

The numerous user<\/span> privacy lawsuits<\/span><\/a> must have you running scared. <\/span><\/p>\n

You scared me too\u2026  <\/span>I\u2019m outta THERE (again)!<\/p>\n

FaceBook still has me locked out. I think they have my IP address blocked. I changed my name slightly to create a new login and it still blocked my access. That’s good.
