Progress Report V64

Most of my major (32 bit) software has been installed over in the Vista64 OS. That is all my Microsoft office and accounting programs and all of my Adobe suites. Also a few other apps I consider important such as WS_FTP pro from Ipswitch, and a new version of CMS IntelliCAD 6.6 Pro. The CMS IntelliCAD is the only 32 bit software so far that hasn’t let me install in both 32 and 64 “worlds”...

Testing the Limits

I have been playing with my home office computer. I discovered a $60.00 (yes sixty) Seagate 500 Gig SATA internal drive when I went to the computer store (dangerous place) for some CD cases. It was the Saturday after black Friday. At first I passed it up thinking, “Wow! That’s a good price,” Especially when the standard price on the box was $119.95. Dusting & Cleaning

This is “Black Friday” but I am not out spending my meager salary on all those bargains! What I actually did was a little house keeping on my personal home office computer. A Wide Address is Good

I think the time is now for 64 Bit Processors and yes, even the 64 bit operating system. I have been running Vista 64 bit operating system (OS) for several weeks in testing with very little notable difference with Vista 32 bit OS.
