This is my brother Jim Kautz when I visited with him at his home in Flat Rock, NC last week. He is going to celebrate (?) age 60 on October 28th. I hit age 61 December 10. Yeah, go figure the math. 🙂
I drove nine hours and $90 in gas to see him and my sister-in-law Patty. No age for her but she is actually MUCH younger, truly! 🙂
Worth the trip as this was the first time I got to see their house in the mountains. I think Jim is standing here on the flattest spot. The rest is at about a 30 degree slope!
Beautiful area and will be even nicer when his pond fills up at the bottom of his “hill”. (Just down the road over his left shoulder.) Owning your own private pond is a lot of work as Jim is experiencing… Still, nice place bro!
