- Just as the turtles were leaving.
I looked out my window this morning and I noticed The turtle lineup on the far side of the lake. As you can see the water is very low and it exposed this concrete buttress where street storm sewers enter the lake. Perfect for turtle warming in the morning.
So I grabbed my Sony and slapped on the tele lens. The ducks showed up a bit later just as the turtle party was breaking up. This actually is a common sight as the lake is a bit of a wildlife sanctuary. With wild animal photography if you snooze you loose.
I shot probably 30-40 pictures, but only a few are needed to tell a story. We are all waiting on the Fall rains to come…
