Now here is a real hoot. Take a look at this picture and the “cowpokes” in the previous post. Yep, they are the same folks. Because they spent most of their play time in those western outfits, they are to this day still called “Beaver and Dude”.
Beaver is “Lil’ Beaver” as in Red Ryder’s sidekick. Dude is obvious as a cowgirl. Dude is actually my wife, Gloria and Beaver is her cousin uh… Beaver (Jim) Barnes.
