Sick Cow
This is for you Linux users… The Spherical Cow, AKA Fedora 18 wasn’t running too good today. It became constipated trying to do a normal software update from the X-Window GUI. It said there were 96 updates waiting and then would just hang. I tried several remedies and reboots but the cure was at the command line. It’s nice to not forget your “roots” so to speak. Well, I finally got fedup. But it’s not what you think. Fedup is the update program for Fedora from version 17 to 18. I am fairly certain it means FEDora UPdate, FEDUP. I down loaded and installed the latest version on my computer. Fedup runs from the command line.
