There used to be a social group that promoted model train building that was more whimsical than realistic. It used the acronym AWNUTS as an identity. Its meaning is Always Whimsical, Not Usually To Scale. It was model trains on a non-scale whimsical theme. Work Beyond 70

Seven decades now under my belt. The body is a little worse for wear, but that means it has been well used.  A little regular maintenance keeps it ticking. Ha! Yet Another Windows 10 Defect

Microsoft seems to have a team of software engineers who have forgotten the legacy systems of the past. I have a powerful quad-core desk computer that has been performing well for many years. It has progressed through several Windows OS upgrades. Windows 10 has been the worst of all editions. Always something not working correctly or having to be turned off as an undesired “feature”.
