Cobwebs

Oh no! What have I done to myself? I have to clean out the cobwebs in my skull and make room for more brains. I am going to get back into my brain shell and be born again, or is it Bourne again…  I have to refresh myself in using the BASH (Bourne Again SHell) commands that are used to communicate with Linux and Unix. Ubuntu One

Ubuntu One is a cloud file sharing system for Linux Ubuntu. I have been using it for several years, maybe longer. It syncs files between several computers I have that are running Linux Ubuntu. For me it has functioned flawlessly. I only used a tiny portion of the available 5G free space in Ubuntu One. No need to purchase additional. Ubuntu One was expanding into compatibility with all the major operating systems, including Windows and Mac....

Ubuntu 13.10

Ubuntu just updated to version 13.10 so I updated “Sandbox” and my little Netbook to this new version. The updates went flawlessly with nary a hiccough on either machine. I don’t see any difference at the user level interface and in a way that’s OK with me. There was nothing wrong I could detect in the older version (13.0). Sandbox 13.04

Actually it is Sandbox running Ubuntu 13.04 but the result is the same. The operating system and the software are the heart of the system. The name sandbox can represent the hardware which seldom changes after the box is built. The update was flawless as thousands of files were downloaded and installed in their proper locations. This was a far better experience than I had with Fedora. I hope a Fedora fanatic reads this. Hmmm...
