Just like the song, we had a white Christmas this year in Frisco, Texas. This is enough snow to pretty much stop everything in its track here near Dallas. Thank God it is not as bad as the rest of the USA had to endure. In fact, the folks in my birth state of Ohio and cousin David in Buffalo, NY are probably rolling on the floor laughing at this “sprinkle”!
But for us in North Texas, the white is a treat. It is the ice that you see in the driveway picture that is the killer here. Even I, who lived 40+ years in Ohio and another 3 in New Hampshire (2/3 my life in snow country) can’t avoid the skidders on the ice. (I made up that word.)
Note the ducks and geese on the lake. They think the foul weather is just fine…
