I love to search the Internet for information. So do millions of other people. The Internet is a library, encyclopedia and electronic window on the world. The caveat is about 50% of it’s content is pure crap. Probably more. It seems for some humans, their only purpose in life is to pollute public resources. Such is the behavior of our species. I sometimes wish the Internet had a flush handle and a sewage system.
My searches these days are coming up with a lot of artificial Blogs. The Scammers have found a new resource. This program is easy to install and get working. The software is free.
The fakes are easy to spot. They are mass produced. They are just so much clutter to dig through to find something with real information. They don’t seem dangerous but they are spreading like bunny rabbits.
Blogs are intended to use links, and special features are included to link to other blogs. These are the features being exploited. I have no ego to be the Blog with the most links. You see I have very few.
I use a search engine that gives me a little starter paragraph. If I read only a jumble of unrelated keywords, it is a fake. Just a junk link site. They also use simple names like “Joe’s Blog” or “Mary’s Blog”, very un-creative.
In my opinion, Blogs are not good resources for reliable research information anyway. Blogs are mostly some ONE’s opinion. A public diary.
I hope you find this place interesting to visit. Take what I say as just my opinion. Avoid the fake Blogs with quicksand! 🙂 — Dan’l
Dan,
I agree about the flush handle and sewer but not just for blogs. I just wish we had the internet when I was in high school. And yes, this site is interesting and your opinion is one of someone with common sense and real values.
Thanks,
Marv
Yeah, I was thinking of the whole Internet too… 🙂
Still a great resource but we have to watch our step.
