I just put a new forum/BBS up on the internet.
I had one I started about ten years ago named TEDEX that was popular for many years. It was hobby and craft based same as is my new BBS named POSTEX Forums. ~ (link)
Please register and say hello. The registration sends me an email and then I need time to respond so registration is not immediate. You will receive two emails. One shows you have registered and the second will say you have been approved.
Registration attempts with bad emails never get approved.
I dislike making joining a BBS that complicated but there is a whole planet of people who will just register because they can. It’s what killed my last BBS.
The new POSTEX Forum is a fresh start with no topics (at this time of posting). That will change as the board grows with users’ desires. I have suggested the initial premise for the board but that theme is flexible. I can create private member only areas if desired on any civilized topic. The phpBB software (The basic OS of the BBS) is very customizable.
The old TEDEX is history, so help POSTEX get a good start.
