Here is a view of the back of the house in Frisco, Texas. You may know that we have had 40+ days over 100 degrees and NO RAIN. The normal lake height is at the top bank. When it rains really hard for a long time, the water has been over the sidewalk. The ducks love it! The high water only lasts about 1/2 hour before it goes down to normal level. You can see we are praying for some of that hard heavy rain!
Hi Ramblin’, Your house looks great from the back, love the longggggggggggg porch. We have had little rain the previous month, but experiencing some today thanks to Ernesto so things should green-up! Hopefully rain will come your way and you and the ducks will be swimmingly happy again.
Dan’l,
Now that is a nice looking place! Is that some kind of transmitter on the right side of the house?
This back yard looks prefect for a A3 switcher steaming along!

Hey Cookie, I thought Ohio was dang near a swamp this year. We could use some of that rain for sure. The porch is 52 foot long and the slab is 12 foot wide. Overhang adds a few more feet. Come down and visit and sit a spell. I promise I won’t nibble. 😉

Pat,
Sharp eyes. That is my amateur radio (W5EHS) vertical antenna. The transmitter is within touching distance of me here at the keyboard. Ha!
I have been trying to figure where to run the track. (???)
Dan’l,
Swamp time was March thru June, then the parching desert weather set in. Our beautiful fall is approaching with more pleasant temps.
Thanks for the invitation, I will keep that in mind. 🙂
