I have the Light-O-Rama boards working. WOW! what a show. I have about 28 of the 32 outputs hooked up to various lights. I haven’t had the time yet to synchronize the lighting to Christmas music but that is coming. I have the FM transmitter functioning (also kit built) and it works great too.
Currently I have a silent two minute routine written that loops back and starts over. The show starts at dark and runs for four hours. It is the only “active” display in the neighborhood.
What has been nice is that the main controller is able to store the program within its own memory. So that means the home computer is not on or connected to run the program. Just download the program to the controller.
It’s in the 20’s here in Frisco at night so it will take awhile before I can shoot a video of the action. I have also been out of town for most of the week.

Bill,
I am still working. You wouldn’t believe the size and scope of the projects I am working on now. I am an Energy Manager, even have “credentials” after my name. CEM (Certified Energy Manager) and BEP (Business Energy Professional). I have a third one on the way but can’t brag on it yet. Of course it all means nothing to someone not in the business. Ha!
Model building is OK. I still do that in a solid metal sort of way…
