It is the day after Christmas but I noticed yeaterday (Christmas) we had three visitors on the lake. These fine feathered folks (Canada Geese) don’t live here as we have a quartet of tame (sort-of) African geese that usually rule to roost. The resident geese must not be paying attention or perhaps welcome these travelers.
In any case, I will take it as a sign of good fortune that we had these visitors show up at Christmas and they have decided to stay for awhile, with no problem from the local bullies.
yes true …but they ARE watching each others backs well also ,just to be sure they can get the heck outta there before trouble starts 🙂 🙂
Hi Ace,
The Dallas area seems to be a major flyway for many species of migrating birds. The waterfoul type drop in here from time to time. After living here 10 years we seem to know the locals. It’s fun to spot the “visitors”.
Since we are in the city limits of Frisco, there is no one shooting at them! :O
