Farewell Old Friend

Nothing is as sad as loosing a best friend. A friend who always offered unconditional love and affection. Especially when that friend was also a family pet of 14 years who truly became a part of the Kautz family.

His name is Bingo. Mostly shih tzu , part maltese. He was rescued 14 years ago when a tiny puppy by my wife Gloria from certain extinction because he had a lame right rear leg. He never knew he was lame and it never held him back throughout his life. I have to admit he has always been my inspiration to keep going as my own mobility decreases.

Here is what my son Steve wrote me in an email when  he found out Bingo was gone:

That’s so sad. He was a GREAT buddy. If we never would of adopted

(saved) him back when he was a puppy he’d of never had such a wonderful life. He sure gave us lots of happiness!! God bless our little “Bingi” 🙁

I’m so glad he got to meet Tessa.

Tears are on the keyboard and there is a lump in my throat and an empty space in my heart. Time will heal all. His aura will remain and fill that empty space. That is the heaven where all good memories reside.

Yes Steve, God Bless Bingo. He is in a wonderful place.
