Cold Cathode
I have been experimenting with cold cathode lighting for use with the Lithophanes. This is just a setup on the work bench. This looks like it will be a superb method of displaying these carvings. I have been making more lithophanes on the Taig. I don’t plan to show them all off here. Some day when I have enough “good” ones I may decide to do a gallery here in Ramblin’ Dan. Artist? Well… sort of. My machining interest now includes CNC routing of signs and 3D deep relief carvings. Mainly because I can sit in front of a computer and create the “art” then let the machine tools do all the work. Well, most of the work.
