Fast Scan

Wow! Amazon was fast. They beat their projected delivery date by a bunch. Weak point was whomever their shipping agent was, they did a terrible packing effort. The scanner box was sliding around inside the box with inadequate packing. The Epson box was very well packaged so no damage done. I am not going to make a sales pitch for this scanner. I have been busting my brain modules for about a week (off and on) learning the ropes of setting up a Linux Ubuntu server running Samba, a windows (and UNIX) file server.
