I don’t know if anyone has noticed, but the pictures at the top of the blog are my own photo’s taken in Alaska. The extreme cropping in the wide format makes them appear different. I kind of like how they give a new perspective and narrow in on the subject while at the same time are actually a panorama. The fogy overlay of the ends brings the viewer back to the subject in the center....

I was able to fire up the HB2 CNC router under its own power today. All I had to do was the tedious task of making up the motor cables. When that was done (actually when the first one was done) I was able to turn on the new power supply and get the steppers to run, just one at first. You have to be a scratch builder to appreciate that very first “come alive”...

North Texas is getting dressed for spring. The weather hasn’t settled yet as far as temperature. I am seeing 45 Degree F. swings on some days. It will be 35 at night and hit 80 in very early afternoon. Some of the flowering trees have figured that winter is over as some Bradford Pears are in full bloom.
