This is some more photo engraving work done with the VECTRIC software and the Taig Micro-Mill. The mill working area is only 5.5″ x 12″ but that is good for making these 5″x7″ engravings. This web site, TEDEX and The Hobbyist Machine Store were non functioning all this weekend. The reason being the server service agent moved their “farm” from Tennessee to Ohio. These sites were the worst hit because they depend on two servers to operate, the web site server and the SQL database server. The SQL servers were the last to be put back on line. My many other standard web sites were back on line on Saturday....

Artist? Well… sort of. My machining interest now includes CNC routing of signs and 3D deep relief carvings. Mainly because I can sit in front of a computer and create the “art” then let the machine tools do all the work. Well, most of the work.
