The new Intel NUC10 arrived and the 500GB SSD, 2TB HDD and the 32GB RAM from the old NUC7 was installed. Glad to say all the drives and memory are in perfect working condition. Computer Update

Lost both my Apple MAC-mini and my Intel NUC-7 due to a lightning strike into my home office. Most all electronic equipment within the entire house was obliterated. In the office – two additional, older, large case, built-up computers were also destroyed. One I called “Ironsides” and the other named “Sandbox”. Thank You Linus

Fired up Sandbox (my Linux computer) which has been silent for a few months. Checked out the OS (operating system) and did some software updates. Sandbox wasn’t asking for them but since they were available, I brought sandbox up to the now-current status. Windows 10 OS is still a PITA when doing updates. It’s like a bully who picks on me to have its way. It will run one over to get an update done....
