A Better Link System

Thank You Linus

Fired up Sandbox (my Linux computer) which has been silent for a few months. Checked out the OS (operating system) and did some software updates. Sandbox wasn’t asking for them but since they were available, I brought sandbox up to the now-current status. Windows 10 OS is still a PITA when doing updates. It’s like a bully who picks on me to have its way. It will run one over to get an update done....

Fat MAC

The Apple MiniMAC computer has become my go-to first choice for my daily computer needs. It is equal for the tasks to any of my other machines except OS specific apps. I haven’t abandoned the Linux or WIN10 OS systems. There have been a few quirks and I did suffer from an invasive trojan virus. macOS Localhost:8080 SOCKS Proxy Issue

There has been an Issue with my MAC mini with Mojave V. 10.14.5. I am being specific here as I don’t know how universal this issue is.  Some thing (maybe a virus) has been installing a SOCKS proxy server at localhost port 8080. on my Ethernet connection.
